Israeli start-up company Lucid Logix has outlined a breakthrough in parallel graphics technology that allows for a mix and match of any graphics cards, no matter the GPU, and still have a performance scaling beyond the current multi-GPU technologies from ATI and NVIDIA. The solution is called Hydra, the beast with many heads, and will work with any CPU or chipset. Scratched glas unlocks 60 times faster Internet

I don’t think there is anyone who actually thinks the Internet is fast enough. Improving the speed of the Internet should be a top priority, but now that scientists at the University of Sidney have unveiled a new switch, which could speed up the Internet 60 times fold, we can’t imagine that there were anyone out there who could have guessed the key to this. The project has spanned over four years and the heart of it all has been glass, or more precise scratched glass. Albatron’s ‘Retrotechnology’ Video Cards Hit A Snag

Taipei (TW) - Albatron’s new Retrotechnology PCI slothttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peripheral_Component_Interconnect video cardsVideo card won’t hit market for a while because of problems with some motherboardsMotherboard . The company says their engineers are trying to resolve compatibility issues.

While PCI slots are supposed to be standard, various motherboards on the market vary in their signaling implementation of PCI interface. We spoke with Sam Nada, Albatron’s International PR representative, and learned that the products are getting worked on. Albatron’s engineers are now working hard on optimizing the BIOS to achieve compatibility with as much PCI boards as possible. As soon as engineering work is done, you can expect these products to market.
Our estimate is that the cards will come to market in the next couple of weeks.

Albatron introduced several Retrotechnology video cards at this year’s Computex trade show in Taiwan. The cards use a GeForcehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeForce 8 series graphics chip and have low power consumptionhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_consumption . Pop a few of these cards into a motherboard, add some monitor and you have an instant stock trading station or uber video editinghttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_editing set up.
